This picture shows how the new settlers (columbus and his men) came to the "Indies". It bascically shows that they came with swords and traveled in groups. They way that Columbus and his men presented themselves scared the indians or "people from the Indies". The indians also scared Columbus. He was not used to their behavior and their customs and that is why he believed that he was miss treated and that they indians miss treated eachother. When in all actuallity that was just how they lived.

Yes this picture does not show how the Indians were treating eachother and Christopher and his men, but it does show how Columbus and his men entered this "new world". I think this picture shows in great detail how Columbus acted when he landed on the new land.
